you begin?
Practical details to help you choose a teacher, a lesson time and a comfortable starting point.
Can a complete beginner join?
Yes. Your tutor can begin with Arabic letters and sounds, then build gradually towards Quran reading. We first learn what the student already knows.
Can I request a female teacher?
Yes. Tell us when you enquire. We will look for a qualified female tutor whose available times fit your schedule.
How long is a lesson?
Choose 30, 45 or 60 minutes. You can compare the monthly fees for each length in the pricing section.
How do the free trials work?
Share the learner’s age, level and suitable times. We arrange two live, one-to-one trial classes so you can meet the teacher before choosing a monthly plan.
How is the right starting level chosen?
During the trial, the tutor listens to the student and checks their reading or current knowledge. We then suggest a path that fits their age, ability and goal.
Can lessons fit my time zone?
We teach learners in different countries. Share your time zone and preferred days, and we will offer suitable times based on tutor availability.
May a parent observe a child’s lesson?
Yes. Parents are welcome to observe and stay involved in their child’s learning.
Does the student need to use a camera?
Audio-only lessons can be arranged. Seeing the tutor’s mouth movements can be especially helpful when learning how to pronounce Arabic sounds.
How will I know the student is progressing?
The tutor reviews reading, memorisation and the next focus as lessons continue. Parents receive weekly progress updates, and a monthly review helps track the student’s development.
Can I study more than one subject?
Tell us your goals, such as Tajweed alongside memorisation or Arabic understanding. We can help plan how those goals fit into your lesson time.
What if our availability changes?
